Liz has been studying and practicing in the field of rehabilitation medicine and neurofascial bodywork since 2000. She received her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2003. She worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in Brain Injury/Stroke Rehab for 10 years.
Liz reports:
what an honor it was to witness patients continually beating the odds of their prognosis!
Always a student of the body and its limitless potential to balance and repair, she became a certified Bowenwork Practitioner in 2013. As her interest developed in how the fascial system is interconnected with all of the body’s systems, she went back to school to obtain her license in bodywork, completing numerous CE courses including Craniosacral, Craniosomatic, and Reiki.
She reports,
the 2 year mentorship training in Tensegrity Medicine not only taught me objective assessments and techniques but how to integrate the bodywork through movement and dialoguing skills related to belief systems and perception to obtain long lasting results!
Liz is a mother of two great kids whom she says mirror her and challenge her growth everyday! Her focus is to hold space and empower her clients to connect, listen to, and trust their own body’s ability to heal and restore.
